Chapter 8 - The Boardroom Mutiny Against Adrian Becomes Complete Chaos

Back at corporate headquarters, emergency board members gathered via secure conference call as morning broke across the city.

“It means Vale Enterprise is technically insolvent as of midnight,” the corporate legal counsel reported grimly.

“Adrian signed personal guarantees using company stock as collateral across every major acquisition,” another board member shouted.

“If Sterling liquidates, we lose everything—our pensions, our shares, and our personal reputations,” a third executive panicked.
