Chapter 17 - ROSA'S HOUSE
Months later, Claire found Rosa cleaning the mansion again.
She gently took the brush from the older woman's hand.
“No more.”
Rosa protested.
Claire smiled.
She had purchased a small house nearby in Rosa's name and established a retirement fund for her.
Rosa cried.
Claire hugged her.
The woman who had once knelt silently outside the mansion had become the person brave enough to change Claire's life with four words.
She doesn't know.
