Then investigators found his access records.
Trust documents.
Medical files.
Travel schedules.
Lily's file.
Her personal vulnerabilities.
Even a planned accusation that she had stolen Ethan's medication.
Dominic had wanted her reputation destroyed.
Why?
If Victor went to prison and Ethan's trust became disputed, Dominic could push for corporate control.
Serena would control the child.
Dominic would control the business.
Anthony would control the trust.

Then Dominic's assistant broke.
He admitted Dominic knew Serena was hurting Ethan.
He had chosen not to intervene.
“Why?”
The assistant's answer was chilling.
“Because he thought the chaos would weaken Victor.”

Dominic was arrested.
Blackwood International removed him from its board.
Victor stared at the reports.
“How many more?”
Marco answered:
“We don't know.”
That was the real danger.

Victor made a decision.

Independent trustees.
Independent security.
Outside financial oversight.
No family member would control Ethan's trust.

And then Victor told Lily:
“I'm going to plead guilty.”
“To everything you actually did?”
“Yes.”
Lily nodded.
“Then tell Ethan.”
“I will.”
“Don't disappear.”
